Since its foundation in 1976, Mercon Steel Structures is dedicated to the design and manufacture of capital goods in steel, complicated installation and erection activities, revamps and maintenance for diverse clients. Companies within its circle of clients are engaged on a national and international level in oil extraction and refinery, petrochemicals, energy distribution and civil engineering.
Mercon has the expertise, management systems and technical facilities (including two construction area’s connected with the open sea) to deliver turnkey projects. The services and multidisciplinary activities range from engineering, procurement, construction, manufacture, conservation, preservation, assembly/erection, installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.
The projects realised include a great diversity of offshore installations and land-based structures for the petrochemicals industry, but also a wide range of infrastructural projects, assembly/erection and maintenance work and liquid and gas storage systems.

Mercon Steel Structures B.V. is an operating company of Mercon Holding B.V., as well as
Mercon Montage B.V. Also Mercon Steel Structures B.V. has a Libyan branch office and operates independently in a joint venture with Ostrov in Russia.
